Polenta Chips with Balsamic Vinegar

Polenta chips with our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena provide a perfect snack or aperitivo with friends.


150g Colavita instant polenta

400ml of water or vegetable broth

50g of parmesan cheese

½ spoon of fine salt

Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Salt flakes

Colavita Balsamic Vinegar of Modena


Prepare the polenta following the instructions on the packet, adding the 50g of cheese to the mixture. Add salt to taste and pour into an oven tray of around 20 x 20cm lined with baking paper. Spread the polenta so it is even across the tray. Leave to cool and solidify.

Once the polenta is solid, cut into chip-shaped strips.

Prepare a pan to fry the polenta and add the olive oil so that there is 5-6cm in the base. Fry the chips until golden and lay them on absorbent kitchen roll. Serve with some flakes of salt and Colavita Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
