Balsamic vinegar
Dark in color, with its unmistakable sweet-and-sour taste and charismatic personality, I first met Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI while traveling (where else?) through the province of Modena—and I knew it had to become a permanent guest in my pantry. Why? Because it’s cheerful, versatile, sweet yet tangy. Even as it ages, it never loses its spirit—quite the opposite! Sure, it should be used in moderation, but nothing else can elevate even the simplest dish quite like it does.
