For the fifth consecutive year, Colavita and the Food Education Fund hosted a culinary competition for a public high school in New York.
The competition aims to encourage and empower aspiring chefs who, compared to their peers, have fewer opportunities to stand out in the exclusive and competitive world of professional cooking. Colavita and the Food Education Fund strive to inspire these students, motivating them to pursue their passions and expand beyond their familiar environments.
This year’s winning team was Los Cocineros, who will have the opportunity to embark on a culinary journey in Italy and receive a $2,500 scholarship.
