Bean, Fresh Tuna and Mint Salad

Short on time but don’t want to compromise on flavor? This Bean, Grilled Tuna and Mint Salad is perfect for you. Don’t forget a splash of Raspberry Vinegar for that extra touch that makes the dish unforgettable.

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack Colavita Cannellini Beans

  • 1 pack Colavita Black Beans

  • 2 slices fresh tuna, 2–3 cm thick

  • 1 small Tropea red onion

  • A handful of mint

  • 3 tablespoons Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1 tablespoon Colavita Raspberry Vinegar

  • Salt and pepper

Drain and rinse the beans well in a colander.


Finely chop the onion and mint and combine with the beans in a large bowl.


In a jar, combine the olive oil and raspberry vinegar and shake well.


Season the beans with salt and pepper, pour in the oil and vinegar, and mix thoroughly. Arrange on a serving plate or individual plates.


Heat a grill pan over high heat and sear the tuna, turning carefully until browned on all sides, about 2–3 minutes per side. Slice and place over the salad.


Drizzle with a little more olive oil, garnish with mint leaves, and serve.
