Farfalle with Red Pesto and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Farfalle con pesto rosso e pomodori secchi

Invite your friends over and wow them with a flavorful and easy-to-make first course: Farfalle with Red Pesto, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, and Almonds. Just a few simple ingredients for guaranteed delicious results!

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 jar Colavita Red Pesto

  • 200 g Colavita farfalle

  • 4 Colavita Sun-Dried Tomatoes

  • 60 g almonds

  • Grated Pecorino cheese

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Fresh basil

Bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta al dente.


Toast the almonds and slice them. Drain the sun-dried tomatoes of excess oil and chop them.


Pour the pesto into a large bowl and add the tomatoes, half of the almonds, and half of the grated Pecorino. Mix well. Add 1–2 tablespoons of pasta cooking water to loosen the sauce slightly.


Drain the pasta and toss it thoroughly with the pesto mixture.


Serve garnished with the remaining almonds, Pecorino, and a few fresh basil leaves.
