Olive Oil Cake

Torta all'olio

Did you know that olive oil is a perfect substitute for butter? Cakes made with olive oil, like this delicious bundt cake, are a lighter and tasty alternative—perfect for breakfasts that will never leave you wanting!

Ingredients:

  • 250 g flour

  • 150 g milk

  • 60 g Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1 packet baking powder

  • 100 g sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 200 g orange jam (or any jam of your choice)

In a bowl, mix the eggs with olive oil, milk, and sugar.


Sift the flour and baking powder, then fold them into the mixture.


Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F), static mode. Pour half of the batter into a 22 cm cake pan and bake for about 20 minutes.


Remove from the oven, spread the jam evenly over the baked layer, then cover with the remaining batter.


Bake for an additional 25 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
