
We begin our journey into the heart of Molise: Pasta e Ceci! A humble dish, yet rich in flavor and history, that has warmed the hearts of Molisan families for generations. Sharing this recipe is a way to bring back the tastes of our childhood and the traditions that define us.
Ingredients for 4 people

200 g mixed pasta

1 package of Colavita chickpeas

Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Colavita Pepperolio

1 clove garlic
Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta.
Meanwhile, heat a generous drizzle of extra virgin olive oil in a pan and add the garlic clove, cooking until golden.
Remove the garlic and add the drained chickpeas, sautéing for about 5 minutes. Take a ladle of chickpeas and mash them with a potato masher, then return them to the pan.
Drain the pasta 2–3 minutes before the recommended cooking time and sauté it over high heat with the chickpeas to absorb the flavors.
Plate and finish with a drizzle of Pepperolio.
