Ingredients for 7 cupcakes:

200 g fine sugar

3 eggs

100 g plain yogurt

100 ml Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil

4 tablespoons cocoa powder

250 g all-purpose flour

1 packet baking powder

200 ml milk
For the buttercream frosting:

125 g powdered sugar

40 g butter

Orange food coloring
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Beat the eggs with sugar for about 5 minutes until pale and fluffy.
Add the yogurt and olive oil in a thin stream, mixing well.
Incorporate the flour, baking powder, cocoa, and a pinch of salt.
Soften the batter with milk, mixing until smooth and homogeneous.
Spoon the batter into cupcake molds and bake for 20 minutes at 180°C. Use a toothpick to check doneness.
Meanwhile, prepare the buttercream by mixing softened butter with powdered sugar, slowly adding a few drops of orange food coloring.
If needed, add a little water to achieve a thick, smooth consistency.
Once baked, let the cupcakes cool and decorate using a piping bag.
